A Story of Hope and Healing: The Journey of Healing Hearts Bears
At the heart of every Healing Hearts Bear lies a story—a story of hope, love, and the power of transformation. These bears are not just ordinary stuffed toys. They are Praying Companions, born from the vision of Ma’am Stella Estremera, who wanted to touch the lives of two very special groups: the children battling cancer at the House of Hope and the women of the Davao City Female Jail.
Each Healing Hearts Bear is handcrafted with care and purpose. Inside its satchel lies a tiny prayer book, a source of comfort and strength for anyone holding it. These bears are more than just soft companions; they are messengers of healing and hope, created by the hands of women whose own lives are being transformed by this initiative.
Our journey with the Healing Hearts Bears began unexpectedly. One day, we came across Ma’am Stella’s Facebook post about her project for the children of the House of Hope. Her story touched our hearts deeply, and we knew we had to help. It wasn’t much, but we sent colorful yarns to support her efforts, believing in the beauty of her mission. Each strand of yarn we sent carried our prayers, love, and the belief that even small acts can create ripples of change.
These bears are unique in so many ways. Inspired by Pranic Healing, they carry with them the energy of balance, well-being, and harmony. Every bear is lovingly created to not only bring joy to its recipient but to also provide an opportunity for healing and livelihood to the women crafting them. For detainees at the Davao City Female Jail, creating these bears gives them hope and a chance to earn a living, all while supporting healing sessions for their community behind bars.
