A Birthday of Hope, Strength, and Healing
This month, I had the chance to celebrate my birthday in a way that truly touched my heart. Alongside fellow Pranic Healers from Davao, I visited the women at the Davao City Female Jail Facility (DCJFD). What started as a simple visit became an unforgettable day of connection, hope, and healing.
Together, we shared food, gift packs, and most importantly, the healing power of energy. For the women who were unwell, we offered relief through Pranic Healing sessions. But as much as we hoped to give them strength, they gave us even more in return.
Seeing the resilience and gratitude of these women, even in the face of such challenges, moved me deeply. Despite their difficult circumstances, their spirits shone with hope. They reminded me that no matter where we are in life, we can choose gratitude and strength. They taught me that true power doesn’t come from where we stand, but from how we face our struggles.
One of the most inspiring moments of the day was learning about the incredible work of Ma’am Stella Estremera, who visits the facility every Monday to lead meditation and healing sessions. Her dedication to these women has transformed their lives, bringing them peace, wellness, and even a sense of freedom within the walls of the facility. I am so grateful to Ma’am Stella for inviting us to be part of this mission. Her work is a testament to the power of kindness and healing.
As I spoke with some of the women, I felt a deep connection to their stories and dreams. I made them a promise—when they are ready to reenter the world, there will be opportunities waiting for them. Through the FMJ Group of Companies, they can earn a living for themselves and their families, rebuilding their lives with dignity and hope. Their response overwhelmed me. They told me that if they come back, it won’t be as inmates but as volunteers, ready to give back by helping with Ma’am Stella’s Healing Hearts Bears project or supporting The Joyful Giver’s® mission.
These women, who have faced so much, still want to give back. Their generosity, despite their circumstances, reminded me of the unbreakable strength of the human spirit. It’s a lesson I will carry with me always.
I am deeply grateful to JSUPT Ericley Louise D. Lazaro of PNPA 2004 for hosting us and for the thoughtful gifts we brought back to Manila. Your kindness added so much meaning to this day.
To everyone who supported my birthday celebration this year, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generosity made this experience possible. Together, we touched the lives of these remarkable women and, in turn, they touched ours.
This is only the beginning. With your help, we can continue to spread hope, kindness, and healing to those who need it most. Let’s keep working together to make a difference, one act of love at a time.
All glory to God 🙏🏻✨
With love and hope,
The Joyful Giver® ❤️
